An all-in-one root dip for transplanting of container seedlings and bare-root plants or trees. Specifically used for trees and plant material that are dependent on ectomycorrhiza. Mycorrhizal fungi colonise the roots under different conditions, resulting in a significant increase in absorption capacity.
Bare-root plants are much more fragile when being transplanted. MycorDip Pt forms a natural microfilm of bacteria and fungi. This product also facilitates a rapid colonisation and new root formation. Humic acids and seaweed extracts stimulate strong root growth. The combination of mycorrhiza and rhizobacteria restores the essential biology around the roots, which has been disrupted by – for example – soil tillage. Research demonstrates that differences in growth are significant in the long term. This is due to the increased absorption range, nutrient density and access to capillary water.
Mix 1 package (425 grams) with 15 to 50 litres of water. Stir for 3 to 5 minutes to achieve a smooth, firm mixture. Immerse the roots of the plant material completely, then plant immediately. Plant the top roots no more than 1 cm below ground level. Use dissolved product within 6-10 hours.
After some time, the dip may thicken as a result of soil particles. In that case, add equal amounts of MycorDip Pt and water. No more than 15% extra water should be added. Do not mix with pesticides. Protect roots from dehydration, wind and sunlight.
